Since 2024 I've been maintaining public repositories of free and open-source software I package for anyone to use within GNU/Linux.

I currently work as a professional listener and preschool teacher. My previous work and volunteer experiences include:
- 3 years in graphic design and marketing leadership at Gallery Leather Direct.
- 7 years of graduate study, teaching, and transdisciplinary research at UMaine through the Department of Communication and Journalism, the Mitchell Center for Sustainability Solutions, and the New England Sustainability Consortium.
- 2 years as Editor-in-Chief of Spire: The Maine Journal of Conservation and Sustainability.
- 5 years in web/database admin, purchasing, and production at Century Lane Kitchens.
- 6 months of tutoring and media service with Wings for Humanity.
- 1 year writing and editing for Blues Rock Review.
- 4 years of undergraduate study, resident and facility service, and teaching assistance at Southern Adventist University.
Along the way, I gained degrees in communication ecology and environmental studies, mass communication, and media production. I also earned certificates in End-of-Life Doula work, Nonviolent Communication, Python programming, and group facilitation.
